• Yes, the Dacian High Protection Mask is effective against secondhand smoke, but it’s important to understand how it works.
• For example, secondhand smoke contains smoke odor, tar, and nicotine, which are made up of both gases and aerosols.
• Odors are carried by gas molecules, which can pass through any breathable mask. So you may still notice a faint smell, since our mask is designed to allow airflow.
• However, the harmful components—such as tar and nicotine—exist as aerosol particles. These are the real health threats, and the Dacian High Protection Mask is designed to block more than 95% of these oil-based aerosol particles.
• In short, while you might still notice a light smell, the mask effectively blocks the particles that are dangerous to your health. If you’re still noticing strong odors, it’s usually a sign that the mask isn’t being worn correctly. Be sure to check the fit and seal, especially around the nose and chin.
• So yes, the mask is suitable for secondhand smoke protection, as well as for filtering aerosolized chemicals and fumes—just make sure it’s worn properly for the best protection.

• Conversely, the filtration effectiveness of typical electrostatically charged melt-blown filter masks decreases in humid conditions, making it difficult for consumers to determine how much protection the mask still provides.
• While the :dc P95 facemask can be washed for cleanliness, it's still advisable to replace it regularly for optimal hygiene and comfort. If the mask is damaged or heavily contaminated, please replace it immediately.
• You can rinsing by clean water, or spray by 95% alcohol.
